In any case, it seemed to me the right place to make friends, very busy indeed, sooner or later someone would have noticed me. I used to look from far what was happening in order to choose the right moment for a raid in the restaurant’s garden hoping to win a customer’s heart. Suddenly I saw them, yes, they were the friends I would have liked living with. I crept along the ground to get closer to them and to look at them with my big eyes, but I couldn’t dare doing more than that as the waiters would have chased me away.
Lots of thoughts went through my mind, I wished I could speak the human language to explain my story, to get them to know me, but it was an impossible task. Then, I suddenly remembered what once an old wise dog said: “Words do not only come out from our mouths, but from our eyes too”. So, as soon as Lucia and Vale set out for the car park, I went to them.
I was agitated, I did not want to make any mistakes, I had a song on my mind... take me to the sea, take me to the sea.. (portami vicino al mare...) looked at them, I wagged my tail, I hoped that might have worked. As soon as they bent down to caress me, I jumped into their arms and the rest is history. I have grown up here, in Alchimissa bed and breakfast.
When Lucia and Vale are not here, I dig a hole under the fence and I wander around Torre delle Stelle. My favourite place is the beach where I can run and challenge the waves. Even if I am not allowed to stay in the B&B garden, you will surely get a chance to meet me and be charmed by me sweetness. See you soon!
