Cann’e Sisa e Genn’e Mari
These are the two beaches of Torre delle Stelle. Cann’e Sisa is a sandy beach with shallow waters. It is surrounded by mediterranean bushes and offers everything a tourist would expect. The two kiosks are open until late and in the summer months organize theme nights. Drive toward the entrance and when you see the signal Veterinary on the right side, turn to the left and after 200 mt you will find the beach. Genn’e Mari is a big white sandy beach with crystal and shallow waters. Drive toward the entrance, turn right at the small rotary (traffic circle) and follow the signal to “Market Nonna Isa”. After 100 mt from the market there is the parking of the beach. You can also walk there by stairs that lead directly to the beach.
Baccu Mandara
Next to “Van Gogh Restaurant” turn to the left. It is a big sandy beach with deep waters. It is surrounded by green bushes and it is well-equipped for the tourist needs.
Kala ‘e Moru
It is a white sandy beach with crystal waters, 3 kms long. Well-equipped. Turn left at the entrance of Kala ‘e Moru village.
Mari Pintau
The name Mari Pintau means Painted Sea. It is about 3 kms from Torre delle Stelle, direction Cagliari. It is a precious corner with an impressive contrast begeotween the green of the mediterranean bushes and the blue infinite shades of the waters. You should leave your car on the road and walk down a short track. The beach is mainly made by nice pebbles but it is not very comfortable if you like to lie in the sun!
Cala Regina
It is a small cove with a beach made by pebbles, rocks and cliffs. The turquoise-coloured waters are very deep. You will find the signal on the costal road.
Poetto di Quartu
It is a long white sandy beach, from Foxi to Cagliari. In summer it is very crowded, there are many kiosks, bars and small restaurants where you can eat fresh fish. On the opposite side of the beach there are the Molentargius ponds and the salt-pans where you can admire the pink flamingos and many other species of birds.
