Azul
Hello, my name is Azul and I arrived at the Alchimissa
B&B about 3 years ago. I
was found on a very busy road, hidden between the fruit and vegetable crates
of a greengrocer’s shop. I had been living there for a few days, desperately
trying to become a vegetarian and failing – I did not like vegetables. So I
was very pleased when Lucia and Rosy brought me here.
My fine features, long white fur
and big blue eyes (that would make even the most beautiful model green with
envy!) earned me the name “Princess”.
Like most white
cats I have a very unusual character, I like being alone and choosing the
company I keep.
I make friends with people if there is a
spark between us but I am perfectly happy to spend my time
sleeping in some hidden corner. Yes, I love sleeping.. I can
sleep for ten hours and wouldn’t wake up even if a bomb
exploded!
I forgot to
tell you that I am completely deaf. Although some people see it
as impairment, I believe there are certain advantages.
To begin
with, I don’t have to hear the nonsense spoken by human beings.
Secondly, I get special treatment. I make people spoil me
because not many can resist my sweetness.
If you come
to visit me I have a big favour to ask: when you go out, please
check I am not sleeping under your car or by a wheel, or you
could crush me!
